In this presentation, we will develop a series of plant drugs whose predominant action is Energizing.
We can divide these herbs into two well-differentiated classes, those that have a non-specific action on the organism and that improve its general state, such as Ginseng, Maca, Eleutherococcus and those that contain xanthine bases (caffeine, theine, theophylline, mateine, etc.) such as Guarana, Coffee, Tea, Kola Nut, Yerba Mate, etc. that act by stimulating the central nervous system.
It must be remembered that the prescription of plant drugs in any pharmaceutical form must be carried out by a qualified professional.
Ginseng Extracts
Its name derives from the Greek Panax, "Pan" meaning all and "axos" meaning healing and from Chinese ginseng which means "root shaped like a man".
In Chinese medicine it is said to act on the five viscera or its equivalent in the west to the digestive, respiratory, neurological, circulatory and endocrine-hormonal systems.
Immunostimulant: Increases or enhances the body's defenses against physical, biological and psychological aggressors.

Kola Nut Extracts
The Kola Nut or Kola Tree is a CNS stimulant, comparable to Tea or Coffee, it is anti-fatigue, lipolytic, cardiotonic, digestive and diuretic. It contains caffeine (1.0-2.5% w/w) and traces of theobromine and theophylline.
The tannin content (catechol and epicatechol), justify its astringent properties. Potassium salts generate a diuretic effect.
It is used to increase physical and intellectual performance helping to improve concentration, resistance to fatigue and generating a feeling of well-being.
Also as an energizer in asthenias, hypotonias, hypotension, bradycardia and convalescence. It is used in cases of hyposecretory dyspepsias. It is used as an adjuvant in overweight treatments.
